The 2019 All Star Bash Tipped to Reshape Online Retail’s Top 100

Now in its fourth year, The All Star Bash attracts more than 550 guests who gather at Margaret Court Arena to hear the results of the much-anticipated Top 100 Online Retailer awards.

In 2019, the event will be bigger and more exciting than ever, with Power Retail set to reveal its latest Top 100 list, curated with a revised indexing methodology. According to David Fear, the data analyst at Power Retail, the updated list draws on the data-driven approach of 2018 but also includes additional measures that take into account multiple aspects of a retailer’s performance.

“This year we aim to incorporate world-class analytics to identify key metrics across the retail space, with the greatest depth of retailers being included in the rankings,” he says.

The All Star Bash will also mark the launch of the 2019 E-Commerce Leaders’ Playbook, which is the go-to guide for industry professionals looking to gain a competitive edge in the booming Australian e-commerce sector.

In 2018, Adore Beauty, Princess Polly, Catch Group, Luxury Escapes and Showpo were among the top category winners, while cross-channel supermarket chain, Woolworths took out the coveted first place position, cementing itself as 2018’s best online retailer. While no details surrounding this year’s Top 100 list have been revealed, speculation is circling that the results will have the industry talking long after the winners are crowned. Category short-list will be released in January.

The 2019 All Star Bash will be held on February 21 at Margaret Court Arena from 6.30 pm until 11.00 pm.
