Adore Beauty Inks New CEO Role
Adore Beauty is flipping its leadership roles around, with the introduction of its new CEO, Tennealle O'Shannessy.
Adore Beauty is welcoming Tennealle O’Shannessy as the new Chief Executive Officer, with Kate Morris remaining as Executive Director alongside James Height.
O’Shannessy previously worked at Seek, as the Managing Director of the Americas.
“We have built Adore Beauty on the foundation of integrity and trust, establishing a culture than has our customer at the centre of everything we do,” said Kate Morris, the now Executive Director of Adore Beauty.
“Tennealle shares our values and is absolutely the right person to come on board as our new CEO.”
Earlier in August, rumours began to circle about Adore Beauty ‘calling for pitches’ to investors to go public.
“Tennealle [O’Shannessy] has an incredible track record as a strategic leader in digital high-growth businesses, but her values-led approach was the defining attribute for us,” Morris said on LinkedIn.
“Having built this business from the ground up over a 20-year period, our commitment to supporting the future success of Adore Beauty is unwavering.”
