Branded Design Restructures, Hires New Executives

Sydney agency, Branded Design has restructured as Branded Group (BRANDED), and hired two new executives to support the businesses updated structure.

Ashay Sharma and Carlos Tapia, both point of sale (POS) industry veterans, have joined the newly rebranded agency in key positions.

Sharma comes from a role as the MD and founder of POP Impact and ThePOSCollective, while Tapia was working as the company’s sales director. Both Sharma and Tania will be taking senior positions at BRANDED, being led by BRANDED’s Managing Director, Kelly Peoples who is moving into a new role as the company’s CEO.

The agency has also hired a new Industrial Design, Sourcing and Production Expert, Damian Pasternak earlier in the year, who will be the head of BRANDED’s new permanent division.

In a statement released on Friday, the agency said these new hires will help push the business forward, accommodating an industry that’s under constant pressure to be innovative, cost-efficient, and increasingly service-oriented.

“Ashay and Carlos both complement BRANDED’s own views on how innovation impacts the customer journey for Australia’s shifting retail and POS environment,” Peoples said.

“We were all aligned about the benefits of creating a consultative and talent-led agency that gives our growing client roster access to exclusive patented offerings that can be confidently activated in Australia.”

BRANDED believes these new hires will help lead the agency towards the future.
