Brandless Tackles Omnichannel With New Pop-Up

Following the success of its first pop-up store in LA back in May, Brandless has announced its plans to open a second, interactive pop-up in New York City.

Since launching its online store in mid-2017, Brandless has been dipping its toes into the world of cross-channel commerce with its ‘Pop-Up With Purpose’ stores. The online store, which has ditched traditional branded products in favour of quality and affordable items, is opening a new pop-up in New York City.
The store will be open from October 24 until November 4 and will reportedly bring shoppers face-to-face real-life experiences that feature eye-popping displays and experiential activations. The pop-up is expected to be twice the size of the company’s first store that opened in LA in May. According to Brandless, its 12-day physical shop front will be filled with floor-to-ceiling creative installations that are designed to activate all five senses.
“The Brandless community is vibrant from coast to coast and every state in between. We want people to experience #BrandlessLife, which extends beyond the products to a movement centred on simple, fair prices. It enables access to everyone and practices tangible acts of kindness every day,” said Tina Sharkey, the co-founder and chief executive of Brandless.



“The NYC pop-up will not only embody the Brandless ethos but will also bring our delicious goods and awesome products to life through tasting flight menus, a full tasting wall of non-GMO, organic and vegan snacks, a fair-trade coffee experience, a clean beauty lounge and so much more.”
Some of the other promised features include a bamboo forest installation that will “shed light on how tree-free paper goods can be made from sugarcane and bamboo grasses”, as well as a fair-trade coffee bar and installation that has been designed to highlight the importance of supporting fair wages and safe working conditions for farming communities.
Brandless also says it’s excited to give its loyal shoppers exclusive insights into the future of the online brand, as it plans to give customers a first look at new release products that will soon be available online.
According to a press release, Brandless also plans to expand its giveback program. Currently, for each purchase made on, the ethically driven business donates one meal to Feeding America. However, while the NYC pop-up is open, Brandless says it will also donate a meal each time a customer posts on their social accounts using the tag #BrandlessLife.
The pop-up will be open for 12-days and will operate from 9 am to 7 pm daily.
