Canada Goose lands in Australia
Canadian luxury clothing brand Canada Goose is set to launch in Australia this year under an agreement with Brand Collective.
Canadian luxury clothing brand Canada Goose is set to launch into Australia this year under a brand management agreement with Brand Collective. Canada Goose is well known for its luxury winter coats donned by celebrities and currently operates over 50 retail stores globally across North America, Europe and Asia, and is available in more than 60 countries worldwide.
The brand has planned a retail store at Chadstone in Melbourne, with an unconfirmed Sydney location to follow. When the stores open, the company is also set to launch a standalone Australian ecommerce store.
“Partnering with a world-class luxury brand like Canada Goose gives us a great sense of pride,” said Brand Collective CEO Eric Morris.
“Canada Goose is known for being an experience-driven and storytelling brand, immersing consumers in its heritage and enabling them to thrive in the world outside. With Brand Collective’s unique ability to bring brands to life, Australians can now engage with all that Canada Goose has to offer in an unfiltered way.”
This will be Brand Collective’s first foray into the luxury market. It already boasts a large range of global clothing and footwear brands such as Superdry, Hushpuppy, and Reebok but this new luxury partnership is set to boost their status and profits.
Canada Goose’s recently released Q3 results saw revenue increase 65.4 per cent to US$84.5 million for the quarter. If Cettire’s recent results are anything to go off, the appetite for luxury goods is strong in Australia amongst those unaffected by cost of living increases.
“I’m thrilled to be expanding our presence in Australia, bringing Canada Goose to even more consumers,” Canada Goose Chairman and CEO Dani Reiss said. “Australia is a world-renowned destination for luxury, and we’ve seen how strongly our brand is resonating in the market.
“With our long-term strategy in place and an expert partner in Brand Collective, I look forward to this next chapter.”
