Catch Appoints Exec HR Lead as Head of People & Culture
Catch is appointing Roxane Carr as its new Head of People and Culture. The Australian online marketplace will work with Carr on talent acquisition and development, capability and culture, and workplace experience.
Carr has more than a decade’s worth of previous experience leading HR teams in various digital businesses, including financial, retail and real estate sectors in the UK and Australia.
Previously, Carr has worked with Net-a-Porter, Latitude Financial Services, REA Group and Betfair.
“I’m most excited about joining Catch to be part of a fast-growing, Aussie e-commerce success story; taking it to the next level through shaping a culture that preserves the best of our start-up past, while building the capabilities that we need for a sustainable and bright future,” explained Carr.

Carr will spearhead the People and Culture team at Catch to nurture and shape an environment that makes the team at Catch feel ‘appreciated, connected and inspired’.
Catch, which was acquired by Wesfarmers in 2019, recorded gross transactional value growth of 95.6 percent in its HY21 results and revenue of $329 million, up from $155 million in the corresponding period.
Furthermore, it recorded a 0.6m increase in active customers, with a total of 2.9 million customers by the end of December 2020.
