Ahead of the holiday season madness, Click Frenzy and humm have joined together for a 12-month partnership.

The partnership will put humm front and centre for payment options during the Click Frenzy event, with a variety of incentives offered to participating merchants and consumers throughout the event.

Humm joins Telstra, Couriers Please, Volkswagen and the National Breast Cancer Foundation as partners for Click Frenzy’s Main Event starting November 10.

“Our goals are mutually aligned – we exist to stimulate and grow retail in Australia,” said Grant Arnott, the Managing Director of Click Frenzy.

“Many of the brands that offer humm are iconic Click Frenzy shopper favourites, such as Myer, Priceline, The Just Group, Michael Hill, Forty Winks, Surfstitch, Amart and many more. Merchants who offer humm will have access to the humm partner page on Click Frenzy, which will be in a prominent position and will drive more traffic to their website.

“This partnership also makes sense for the millions of Click Frenzy shoppers who love great Australian retail brands, and puts this exceptional Buy Now, Pay Later platform in the spotlight. Shoppers will reap a number of rewards if they choose humm as their payment option during the event, including cashback incentives.”

As the holiday season rapidly approaches, consumers are beginning to shop earlier than usual due to concerns about delivery delays. Power Retail research found that 78 percent of Aussie consumers are starting their Christmas shopping earlier than usual.

Click Frenzy’s Mayhem event ‘smashed’ expectations with growth of 120 percent. At this years’ Main Event, the Click Frenzy team said they are anticipating a similar, if not greater surge in November.

“With tax cuts brought forward by the federal government, consumers starting Christmas shopping much earlier due to concerns around delivery delays – with Power Retail research finding that 78 percent of Australian online shoppers are going to start their online Christmas shopping earlier, and the massive, sustained growth we are already seeing in online sales this year, our Main Event is going to dwarf 2019,” said Arnott.

humm’s e-commerce volume has increased by a whopping 286 percent, explained Rebecca James, the CEO of humm. In the last 12 months, humm has significantly increased its retail brand base, with many household names joining forces with the BNPL platform.

“Now is the perfect time for us to be partnering with Click Frenzy. In the last six months, our e-commerce volume has increased by 286 percent, and we’ve added some of Australia’s most loved brands to our platform,” James said.

“The Click Frenzy event is the perfect kick-off to the season, and as the bigger buy now, pay later provider, humm is the only solution that lets customers make e-commerce transactions up to $10,000 – allowing them to buy anything from a dress to a diamond ring and everything in between. The availability of humm will be a crucial budgeting tool with the holidays approaching, allowing customers to spread the cost of their presents into manageable bite-sized pieces, with no interest ever.”

It’s been a ‘torturous’ year for the entire country, especially for the state of Victoria, due to the strict restrictions and store closures.

“After a torturous year, particularly for five million Victorians, the start of November will be the time to ’treat yo’ self’, and we have hundreds of Australia’s best known retail brands ready and eager to reach millions of Click Frenzy shoppers with amazing offers. Sales are going to go off like never before, and we’re excited to share that growth with humm,” Arnott said.

Click Frenzy kicks off at 7:00 PM on 10 November. You can find out more about the event here.
