COS partners with THE ICONIC as ANZ wholesale partner
THE ICONIC has added another world class brand to its portfolio, introducing UK fashion brand COS to its marketplace.
THE ICONIC has partnered with H&M Group’s fashion brand COS to expand the London based brand’s wholesale presence into Australia and New Zealand.
COS launched in 2007 out of London and has since expanded across Europe, Asia-Pacific, North America, and the Middle East. Today the brand has a 252-store portfolio, spanning 47 physical markets, 38 online markets and selected wholesale partners. This is the most recent wholesale expansion for COS, following its partnerships with Nordstrom, and Breuninger announced late last year.
Currently in the region, COS operates two of its own stores in New Zealand, with an additional eight stores across Australia. This further ecommerce expansion with THE ICONIC aligns with the brand’s ambition to ‘meet customers where they are and continue to build greater brand awareness.’
With well over 10 million average monthly site visits, the Global Fashion Group owned marketplace is well placed to build out that brand awareness.
“We are excited to be partnering with GFG’s platform in Australia and New Zealand, THE ICONIC – a market leader with extensive local following,” said Lea Rytz Goldman, COS Managing Director.
“This provides a great opportunity for COS to increase brand awareness as well as reach new customers in these countries. By adding another established retailer in a major market to our wholesale portfolio, we can build on our existing online presence while engaging and inspiring customers via new channels.”
THE ICONIC echoes the sentiment. “At THE ICONIC, our customers are at the heart of everything we do and we believe that consumers should be able to shop their favourite brands in any environment they choose,” said Gayle Burchell, Chief Commercial and Sustainability Officer at THE ICONIC. “Central to this is forming robust partnerships with brands who, like us, are committed to creating holistic, customer-first experiences across all channels.
This is why we are so thrilled to partner with COS – an incredible, global powerhouse – to expand the ways in which our millions of shared customers can shop COS’ coveted collections in Australia and New Zealand, powered by THE ICONIC’s superior online, app and delivery experience.”
COS’ latest SS23 collection is available now to shop on THE ICONIC.
