Five Reasons Why You Should Attend the All Star Bash in 2022
With less than two weeks to go until the Power Retail All Star Bash, it's time for attendees to get excited. This is the perfect opportunity to let your hair down, get dressed up and have a great time with the leaders of retail in Australia. Still not convinced? Here are five key reasons why you should attend the All Star Bash this April.
The Power Retail All Star Bash is a staple event in the e-commerce calendar. With more than 900 guests ready to show off their love for the industry, this year’s event is expected to be bigger and better than ever before.
1. More Awards Than Ever
This year, we’ve added another five awards to the list – 23 in total. Up for grabs this year include some of the crowd favourites, such as the Top Innovator, Top Emerging Online Retailer, and Top Sustainable Retailer. We’ve added new awards this season, too, including the Top Personalisation, Top Loyalty Program and Top Australian Marketplace.
In deciding the shortlist for these awards, we’ve enlisted some of the biggest names and faces of retail, including Professor Gary Mortimer, NRA CEO Dominique Lamb, MI Academy MD Alita Harvey-Rodriguez, loyalty expert Adam Posner and Director of PR Consulting & Advisory Patrick Rechsteiner.
How do we judge the coveted Top 100 retailers in the lead up to the All Star Bash? In developing the Top 100, Power Retail has developed a ranking methodology that analyses retailer performance across the four key dimensions of the consumer lifecycle; Acquisition, Conversion, Fulfilment and Retention.

2. Network, Network, Network!
In the last two years, it’s been incredibly difficult to network properly. That’s why this event is the perfect opportunity for those in the industry to get the networking hats on and connect with like-minded people. With more than 800 people attending last year’s event, we’re certain that you will have plenty of people to chat with throughout the night!

3. The Annual E-Commerce Leaders’ Playbook
Since 2012, Power Retail has produced the annual E-Commerce Leaders’ Playbook, essential reading for anyone in the e-commerce industry. Celebrating its tenth edition, this year’s Playbook is filled with case profiles with the leading retailers in Australia and abroad, and of course, the coveted Top 100 Online Retailers for the year, and the celebrated 2022 All Star Category winners. If that wasn’t enough, you will find reliable and robust retailer and consumer trends from the last 12 months, based on the Power Retail Benchmarking Survey data, which is drawn from aggregate, anonymised benchmarking data of over 10 million online sessions per month from a broad cross-section of Australian online retailers. Guests will walk away from the All Star Bash with a piece of e-commerce history in their hands!
4. An Unbeatable After Party
The All Star Bash is all about celebrating the best of online retail, but the After Party is where you can really let your hair down and have a boogie. Click Frenzy will host the awesome After Party in a nearby venue, where drinks will flow, a DJ pumping out the best tracks, and a game with exciting prizes up for grabs. The After Party is always one worth checking out, and this year will be no exception!
5. Celebrating the Very Best of Australian Retail
As one of the most prestigious events in the Australian retail industry, it should come as no surprise that the All Star Bash is the ultimate place to celebrate the very best of e-commerce. Last year, more than 800 industry superstars attended, from over 250 retailers. Don’t miss the opportunity to get your business in front of Australia’s leading retailers!
The 2022 All Star Bash will take place on Wednesday 6th April, commencing at 6.30 PM at Crown Palladium. Be a part of the fun and celebrate the best of the best in the e-commerce industry – it will certainly be a night to remember! Limited tickets remaining – secure yours now.
