Flybuys Welcomes Bunnings and Officeworks
Bunnings and Officeworks are joining forces with Flybuys in an upcoming partnership, set to hit stores in December.
The new partnership between the Australian retailers aims to boost the value of the loyalty program to a further eight million Flybuys members in Australia.
The two Wesfarmers businesses are joined to the ‘extensive’ list of 23 Fybuys partners and major retailers like Coles, Catch and Kmart.
“We’re proud to welcome Bunnings and Officeworks into our coalition of partners. We know that a vast majority of Flybuys members already shop at both retailers, which is an incredibly exciting opportunity for our eight million+ members to collect more points where they’re already shopping,” shared John Merakovsky, the CEO of Flybuys.
The partnership will be an essential step in expanding the current program’s value, as well as introducing the ability to further expand its offerings as time goes on. Furthermore, the Managing Director of Wesfarmers, Rob Scott, explained that the partnership will complement the development of the Wesfarmers’ digital and data ecosystems, advancing more personalised and relevant customer experiences.
Steven Cain, the CEO of Coles Group explained that this partnership is a ‘game changer’ for Flybuys members, and hopes to ‘drive better outcomes’ for its shoppers. “We know millions of our customers will be excited because Flybuys member research shows that Bunnings is the most preferred partner in Australia to join the program and we know that Officeworks is an essential part of helping Australians increasingly working from home,” he said. “We look forward to continuing to support millions of Flybuys members receive more value from their purchases and deliver more opportunities to collect and redeem points in-store.”
