The Shop for Change initiative brings together 48 brands to donate $3 for every online sale towards helping women.

i=Change has launched Shop for Change, a retail campaign that donates $3 from every online sale toward NGOs that help women thrive in honour of International Women’s Day.

i=Change has over 400 brands on board and have raised millions of dollars to support people in need with participating brands giving back a $1 donation from every online sale. “It’s a simple but revolutionary idea,” founder Jeremy Meltzer says. “Every time we shop we can address the great challenges of our time – from girls in refugee camps in Bangladesh, to women in Australia seeking shelter from an abusive relationship. These funds are literally saving and changing lives.”

The Shop for Change International Women’s Day campaign triples the impact with a $3 donation for every sale. 48 brands have joined the initiative including Clarins, CAMILLA, OMM Label, MINKPINK, Bec + Bridge, and more. With over 50 projects to choose from, customers of the above brands can select which NGO group they wish to support with their donation. From women and girls empowerment, education, mental health, food relief and other categories, i=Change have a huge range of projects to support with their shop.

Camilla Franks, founder of Australian fashion brand CAMILLA has shared her admiration of the initiative. “Our dream for CAMILLA is bigger than fashion. It’s about a full vision with heart that aims to rehabilitate women by providing them with skills, education, purpose and a safe community. The i=Change platform has allowed us to do just that, and we’re so proud to be part of this incredible initiative!” said Franks.

According to the Shop for Change website, creating impact is now a key consumer focus. Consumers are seeking meaningful ways to connect with brands. i=Change expects retailers to create impact, be part of the solution and have an authentic purpose beyond product.

As a tech platform that uniquely bridges the worlds of online businesses and NGOs, i=Change is making this impact possible. Since its inception in 2014, i=Change has raised over $7.5 million, impacting the lives of almost 1.5 million people. This includes over $1.3 million raised for Women’s Community Shelters, the equivalent of 26,000 nights of shelter for women and children.
