MerchantSpring and Omnivore’s New Partnership to ‘Supercharge’ E-Com
Melbourne-based technology business, MerchantSpring, is partnering with Omnivore to create an analytics suite that aims to 'supercharge' e-commerce insights.
City Beach Software is the provider of the cloud-based e-commerce integration platform, Omnivore, and has been used by some of the world’s leading retailers and brands. Both Omnivore and MerchantSpring have worked with businesses including Fila and Coles.
The partnership of two businesses for Omnivore Analytics aims to elevate the current Omnivore platform with MerchantSpring’s analytics technology. Together, the two businesses will work to ‘exceed the capabilities of existing marketplace technology services’.
Omnivore Analytics will connect brands and retailers to more than 100 global e-commerce marketplace channels, with the inclusion of advanced analytics and ‘robust’ insights; the businesses aim to ‘broaden’ and ‘sharpen’ the user’s online product offerings.
“Increasing demand for advanced ecommerce analytics made it easy for us to choose the MerchantSpring technology as the underpinning for our Omnivore Analytics offering,” said Ivan Logan, MD of City Beach Software. “With the number of e-commerce marketplaces in Australia rapidly increasing, retailers are faced with the need for powerful analytics to understand performance across multiple marketplaces quickly, which is why the Omnivore Analytics offering will be a game-changer for our retailers and brands going forward.”
More than 50 countries currently use the MerchantSpring technology, so this partnership ‘made total sense’. “We found that many retailers using Omnivore were already using MerchantSpring technology so partnering with City Beach Software directly made total sense in terms of adding value to both retailers and the Omnivore platform,” shared James Dihardjo, the Co-Founder of MerchantSpring.
Omnivore Analytics will be available to current Omnivore customers, which include the likes of Super Retail Group, Witchery, Mimco and others. German brand, Brita, explained that this tool can help take its marketplace strategy ‘to the next level’.
“…the MerchantSpring and Omnivore partnership creates the ultimate platform for selling on e-commerce marketplaces, the combined technology is unparalleled by any offering currently available anywhere in the world,” shared Alex Perna, Brita’s E-Commerce Manager.
