Online marketplace, MyDeal, is expanding its offering with the new partnership of Omnivore, an integration platform, for its marketplace sellers.
This new integration aims to enable retailers that use platforms such as Shopify, Magento and BigCommerce to begin selling their products within the MyDeal marketplace.
“One of the biggest challenges for a marketplace is providing retailers with seamless integration options for keeping their products up-to-date in real-time,” explained Joshua Mangan, the Chief Operating and Financial Officer at MyDeal.
“Omnivore helps solve this problem with its turnkey solution by connecting many leading e-commerce platforms to marketplaces, including MyDeal.”
MyDeal now joins leading Australian retailers such as Barbeques Galore, BCF, Chemist Warehouse and Officeworks that use Omnivore’s integration platform.
Last week, MyDeal announced its prospectus for its IPO on the ASX. The retailer launched in 2011 and has become one of the leading online retailers within Australia.
MyDeal is currently raising $40 million, $35 million in new capital and $5 million via Sell Down shares, ultimately valuing the company at $258.8 million.
In April 2017, MyDeal raised $5 million from Gandel Invest, owned by Tony Gandel, the son of the billionaire developer, John Gandel.
The Omnivore turnkey solution allows ‘seamless’ onboarding and integration into the MyDeal marketplace, with ‘precise’ management and maintenance of its inventory with facilitation of prompt order flows from MyDeal.

This integration follows a series of previous introductions in the last 18 months from Shopify, ChannelAdvisor and Intelligent Reach.
