Coles is launching Coles Delivery Plus, an initiative that aims to save customers ‘hundreds on grocery delivery’.
The supermarket has launched the new subscription service for customers, which allows them to get unlimited home delivery orders.
For a flat monthly fee, those who have subscribed to Coles Delivery Plus will also receive their first month’s delivery free of charge. As online shopping becomes increasingly popular for ‘poor-time’ customers, Coles Delivery Plus will also launch Same Day Delivery.
“On average, the cost of a Coles Home Delivery window is $10, depending on location, time of day and length of delivery window chosen,” said Karen Donaldson, GM of Coles Online. “Delivery Plus will allow customers who regularly shop online to save hundreds of dollars a year and help them manage their family budget by knowing exactly how much they will pay on Coles Online delivery each month.”
There are two subscription packages available, the Any Day Save ($19 p/month) – this allows customers unlimited deliveries all week. The other option is the Mid-Week Saver (14 p/month) – this provides deliveries on Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
In order to be eligible for both plans, ‘customers must spend over $100 in a single transaction and choose an available delivery slot on a day included in their plan’.
