Catch ‘Doubles Down’ on Growth Strategy with New CMO
Catch is expanding its customer focus with the appointment of a new Chief Marketing & Commercial Officer, Jason Bagg.
Jason Bagg began his journey with Catch in early 2020 when he joined as Chief Commercial Officer, where he was ‘instrumental’ in developing the retailer’s recent growth strategy.
This role is newly created and is in line with its ongoing growth strategy. Catch plans to use this new role to form an end-to-end view of the customer journey and strengthen the business’ customer focus.
Moreover, Bagg will take leadership of the Marketing team and continue to look after the Customer Strategy and Loyalty Programs.
Fuelling its new strategy, Catch will also be ‘doubling down’ on its brand building. Bagg joins the team as it works on its ‘Everyday Aussies’ campaign that launched in 2020.
“I joined Catch in early 2020, and it’s been a fantastic experience to see the brand grow and develop over the past year and a half,” said Bagg. “I’m looking forward to doubling down on our commitment to our customers, investing in Catch’s brand and leveraging data and analytics to create a world-class online shopping experience for all Australians.”
Bagg was one of the founding team members of Uber’s Australian operations and its launch in 2013, where he was the company’s first Melbourne employee. He has previous experience in Investment Banking with Macquarie, where he developed expertise in market analysis and business development.
