Click Frenzy Mayhem is due to go live at 7 pm on Tuesday, May 15, with retailers offering special Go Nuts deals for subscribers with discounts as high as 99 percent.
More than 250 retailers have signed up for this year’s event, after research from Australia Post revealed earlier in the year that online shopping events, such as Click Frenzy Mayhem drive an increase in online traffic and sales.
In 2016, e-commerce sales grew by 9.6 percent month-on-month during May, while in 2017 these results more than tripled, with online spending increasing 32.2 percent during the month of Click Frenzy Mayhem.
This year, Click Frenzy Mayhem is expecting similarly high results, with more than 250 retailers and brands participating in the 24-hour sale. Click Frenzy is also working with retailers to maximise results by increasing the number of exclusive Go Nuts deals that are available to subscribers. As such, consumers who subscribe before the event will reportedly be able to access more deals of up to 99 percent off than ever before.
Included in the specials are Beats Wireless Headphones and 32-inch HD LED LCD TVs for as little as $3 each. Retailers are also offering consumers savings on more than 1500 products across all categories.
“This year’s Click Frenzy Mayhem will be a treasure hunt of epic proportions,” says co-founder Grant Arnott. “Subscribers are going to have a shot at some absolutely amazing surprise deals – we’ve improved our Go Nuts 99 percent off program and it’s a unique opportunity to snag a bargain of a lifetime for those who follow our instructions and click quick.”
As consumer spending habits continue to shift towards online shopping channels that provide value for money, big name brands like Myer, Just Jeans, Catch.com.au, Temple & Webster, and Rebel, to name a few, are taking advantage of shopping opportunities outside of their usual retail offerings.
Click Frenzy Mayhem has also partnered with Australia Post and its Shipster program as its official delivery partner, Shopback as its official cashback partner, and buy now pay later provider, Laybuy.
Click Frenzy Mayhem will run from 7 pm AEST Tuesday, May 15 until 7 pm AEST Wednesday, May 16.
