The Australian logistics technology platform has announced they’ve taken the next step in their partnership with a further integration with Australia Post.

Ecommerce shipping logistics platform Shippit has announced an integration with Australia Post. In this collaboration between traditional and modern tech, retailers will be able to automate logistics tasks and fulfilment operations such as managing orders, printing shipping labels, and booking delivery services such as pick-ups and drop-off collection points.

The integration connects MyPost Business with Shippit technology and will be available from this month. Australia Post’s MyPost Business offers smart sending tools and combined with Shippit’s automated packaging tools and smart carrier allocation tech, presents an easy to manage shipping option as retailers move into the busy holiday season.

Australia Post and Shippit have been partners since 2016. This partnership is non-exclusive, with Shippit maintaining relationships with various couriers and carriers. Taking the next step in their relationship, this new integration will streamline the logistics services offered by both parties.

The goal of this integration is to primarily assist SMBs and low complexity business effectively manage orders. Running a retail business isn’t easy, but every task and process that can be automated enables businesses to save time and spend it on more valuable tasks,” says Shippit Co-Founder and Co-CEO Rob Hango-Zada. “This is particularly the case for smaller, less complex retail businesses. Time is money for them, and through this integration – and our unwavering desire to streamline and enhance every aspect of the supply chain that connects retailers, couriers and consumers – we’re allowing businesses to run smarter, more cost- and time-effective operations.

“Adding another layer to our already strong partnership with Australia Post is hugely exciting, and represents the latest move in our commitment to continue evolving and producing new products that will revolutionise the logistics industry and create a better delivery experience for our customers.”
