SurfStitch Partners with PayPal with New Summer Collection
SurfStitch has partnered with PayPal for its new Summer Collection, featuring an impressive lineup, immersive experiences and activations.
The live activation event took place at the Cali Beach Hotel on the Gold Coast with more than 400 guests.
The activation, which is in partnership with PayPal Pay in 4, included a live runway with real-time filming. Extra fun events like half-pipe skate ramps, live DJ sets and cocktail bars took place during the event, with special guests like skateboarders Jesse Noonan and Jackson Pitz, and DJs Little Fritter and Ross River Fever.
“At SurfStitch we’re incredibly proud of our ethos towards diversity and inclusivity. The significance of this core brand purpose has been underscored this year, given the challenges of lockdowns and social distancing,” said Dane Patterson, the GM of Brand and E-Commerce at SurfStitch. “As a result, we wanted to live out our core values by inviting the broader SurfStich community – customers and friends of the brand – to go behind the scenes of our latest campaign, and inspire them to live every day like it’s the weekend.”

Andrew Toon, the General Manager Payments at PayPal Australia explained that this event aims to bring together those who were separated during the extensive lockdowns and social distancing measures of the last year.
“Our collaboration with SurfStitch created an incredible night to remember while giving customers watching remotely a fun and unique way to browse the new collection,” he said. “PayPal is passionate about offering our customers new flexible ways to shop, including splitting payments with PayPal Pay in 4, and this event was a real celebration of innovative shopping experiences.”
